The Restaurant

With its approximately 170 seats and open kitchen, the restaurant – the canteen – is the heart of Chefs Warehouse. Here, you can eat, marvel, drink, laugh, and happily forget about time.

The Building

At Sandtorkai 29 stands the former machine center. Once a hydraulic power supplier for the Speicherstadt (warehouse district), today – after extensive renovations by HHLA – it is the home of Chefs Warehouse Hamburg.

The Concept

The Chefs Warehouse restaurant concept was first presented in Cape Town in 2014 by Liam Tomlin. Since then, the brand has grown steadily and become an institution in Cape Town's food scene.
