Back in Cape Town, I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart and with immense pride for your incredible and tireless dedication over the past 12 months. What you have accomplished and created during this long period, and especially in the last six intense months, how many hours, days, and nights you have toiled, worked tirelessly, and spent at your computers, how many thoughts and creative ideas you have contributed, is truly extraordinary, and it fills me with deep humility and immense pride. You are a fantastic team, an incredible group. As you know, I always say that the restaurant business is a team sport and only works through teamwork – and you have been playing in the Champions League from day one. I am incredibly grateful and filled with happiness, and I am certain that Chefs Warehouse in Hamburg, with you as our team, will find its way and its place in the Hamburg market because you are simply truly excellent, have your hearts in the right place, are outstanding hosts, passionate chefs, and creative bartenders, and with Lina, you have the best, warmest, most hardworking, versatile, and smartest manager you could wish for. My partners Roland, Michi, and I agree that she is the best partner we could imagine for such a gigantic project. I am confident that Chefs Warehouse Hamburg, with you as our team, will be a great and long-lasting success, and that together we will make countless guests happy in the future and overcome all obstacles.
