1. Scope of Application
These General Terms and Conditions (GTC) apply to all contracts, orders, reservations, and other services between Chefs Warehouse Canteen & Bar and its guests. Any differing terms and conditions of the guests do not apply unless the restaurant expressly agrees to them in writing.
2. Opening Hours and Reservations
2.1. The restaurant's opening hours are posted and published on the website. 2.2. Reservations can be made by telephone, online, or in person. A reservation only becomes binding upon confirmation by the restaurant. 2.3. The restaurant reserves the right to refuse reservations without giving reasons. 2.4. In the event of a delay of more than 15 minutes without prior notification, the restaurant reserves the right to reassign the table.
3. Conclusion of Contract and Service
3.1. By ordering food and beverages, the guest submits a binding offer to conclude a service contract. 3.2. The contract is accepted upon confirmation of the order by the service staff. 3.3. Consuming food and drinks brought from outside (corkage fee applies) is only permitted with the express consent of the restaurant.
4. Prices and Payment
4.1. All prices are in euros and include VAT. 4.2. Current prices can be found on the food and beverage menu. Prices are subject to change. 4.3. Payment is due immediately upon receipt of the bill. Cash payments and cashless payment methods listed on the website or in the restaurant are accepted.
5. Events and Group Reservations
5.1. Separate terms and conditions apply for groups of 15 or more and private events; these will be agreed upon individually. 5.2. A deposit may be required. 5.3. The following cancellation fees apply to cancellations of events or group reservations: - Up to 14 days before the event: 40% of the lost food and beverage revenue - Up to 7 days before the event: 60% of the lost food and beverage revenue - Up to 3 days before the event: 80% of the lost food and beverage revenue
6. House Rules
6.1. The restaurant exercises its house rules. 6.2. Guests who disturb the establishment, violate common decency, or behave inappropriately may be refused entry or banned from the premises. 6.3. Pets (dogs) may be brought along by prior arrangement, provided they behave quietly and unobtrusively throughout their stay. In the event of disruptive or disruptive behavior, the restaurant reserves the right to remove the owner and their dog from the premises. Owners are liable for their dogs.
7. Liability
7.1. The restaurant is not liable for clothing or personal belongings unless the loss was caused intentionally or through gross negligence by staff. 7.2. The restaurant is not liable for damages caused by force majeure or by third parties. 7.3. For simple negligence, the restaurant is only liable for breaches of essential contractual obligations and only up to the amount of foreseeable damages.
8. Data Protection
The personal data of guests is processed in accordance with applicable data protection laws. Further information can be found in our privacy policy on the website.
9. Final Provisions
9.1. The laws of the Federal Republic of Germany shall apply. 9.2. The place of jurisdiction is Hamburg, provided the guest is a merchant or a legal entity under public law. 9.3. Should individual provisions of these Terms and Conditions be or become wholly or partially invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected. The invalid provision shall be replaced by the applicable statutory provision.
